Evening Shift Pharmacist Contract to Hire Ohio

We are seeking a licensed and experienced pharmacist for a busy, high-volume pharmacy operation in Ohio. This is a 13-week contract-to-hire opportunity working second shift, 12:00pm to 8:00pm, Monday through Friday.

This facility has recently doubled in volume, making this a fast-paced role ideal for pharmacists who thrive in dynamic, high-demand environments. You ll be a key leader on the floor, ensuring accurate order processing, medication safety, and compliance with operational standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise pharmacy technicians and data entry clerks to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to all protocols and delivery schedules

• Review and verify all new medication orders for dosage accuracy, contraindications, drug interactions, and allergies

• Oversee prepacking and medication ordering handled by technicians

• Ensure proper handling, documentation, and inventory management of controlled substances, especially schedule II drugs

Requirements:

• Clear and active Ohio Pharmacist license

• Experience in high-volume retail or compounding pharmacy settings

• Proven ability to lead pharmacy operations and uphold safety and compliance standards

• Strong attention to detail, multitasking ability, and comfort working in a fast-paced environment
