RPh on the Go is actively hiring an Evening Shift Pharmacist for a reputable pharmacy in Fairfield, Ohio. This 13-week contract-to-hire opportunity offers a great path to a permanent role for the right candidate.

Job Details:

• Location: Fairfield, OH
• Schedule: Monday - Friday, 12:00 PM - 8:00 PM
• Duration: 13-week contract with potential for permanent hire

Responsibilities:

• Supervise pharmacy technicians and/or data entry clerks, ensuring proper workflow, security, and adherence to delivery schedules.
• Oversee the ordering and prepacking of medications by pharmacy technicians.
• Screen new medication orders for proper dosing, drug interactions, allergies, and contraindications before dispensing.
• Assist in handling, receiving, documenting, and storing controlled substances, including maintaining a perpetual inventory for Schedule II drugs.

Requirements:

• Active Ohio Pharmacist License
• Experience in high-volume retail or compounding pharmacy is a plus
