Evening Shift Staff Pharmacist - Long Term Care - Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania

RPh on the Go is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Staff Pharmacist to join our team for an evening shift position at a Long Term Care facility in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. This is an excellent opportunity for pharmacists who are passionate about patient care and are looking to make a meaningful impact in a long-term care setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately review and dispense medications prescribed for long-term care residents.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure the optimal therapeutic outcomes for patients.
• Oversee and verify the work of pharmacy technicians to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
• Conduct medication therapy management and provide counseling to patients as needed.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of pharmacy laws, regulations, and industry standards.
• Ensure the proper storage and security of medications, adhering to all safety protocols.
• Assist with inventory management and ensure adequate supplies are available.

Shift:

• Monday - Friday: 2:00pm - 11:00pm
• Rotating weekends.

Qualifications:

• Pharmacy experience
• LTC experience a plus
• PA pharmacy license
