Evening Shift Staff Pharmacist - Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania

RPh on the Go is seeking a dedicated and experienced Staff Pharmacist to join our team for an evening shift position at a Long Term Care facility in Wilkes-Barre, PA. This is an excellent opportunity for a pharmacist with a passion for patient care and experience in a long-term care setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with all state and federal regulations.
• Review and verify medication orders to ensure safety and appropriateness for the patient.
• Provide consultation on drug therapy and collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate records of medication orders, inventory, and patient interactions.
• Monitor drug therapies and provide recommendations for adjustments as necessary.
• Oversee pharmacy technicians and ensure compliance with all standard operating procedures.

Shift:

• Monday - Friday: 2:00pm - 11:00pm
• Rotating weekends.

Qualifications:

• Pharmacy experience
• LTC experience a plus
• PA pharmacy license
