Order Entry Pharmacy Technician Full-Time Direct Hire Troy, OH

Position Details:
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, plus every other weekend
- Shift Options:
- 1st Shift: 10:00 am 6:30 pm
- 2nd Shift: 3:00 pm 11:30 pm
Term: Direct Hire
Key Responsibilities:
Order Entry & Follow-Up: Accurately process orders, including new orders, discontinued orders, STAT orders, CII evaluations, patient admissions, and more.
Pharmacy System Knowledge: Use Framework / DocuTrack systems for precise order entry and ensure timely data input.
Research & Discrepancy Resolution: Address and resolve discrepancies with prescriptions and patient data to ensure safe medication handling.
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement: Work with leadership to meet department goals and contribute to enhancing client services and internal processes.
Customer Service: Provide excellent service to both internal teams and external customers, including answering inquiries as needed.
Qualifications:
OH State Pharmacy Technician License in good standing
Prior pharmacy order entry experience required
Strong computer skills with experience in pharmacy software systems
Solid understanding of medical terminology and drug knowledge
Excellent math and analytical skills, particularly with medication calculations
At least 2 years of experience in a long-term care pharmacy is preferred
