Pharmacy Technician Hospital Setting (Rotating Shifts) Temp-to-Hire New Orleans, LA

Ready to take your pharmacy technician career to the next level in a dynamic hospital environment? We re looking for a Pharmacy Technician for a 6-month contract with the potential to transition to a permanent role in New Orleans, LA.

Position Details:

• Shift: Rotating 1st and 2nd shifts (7:00 am - 3:30 pm or 2:30 pm - 10:00 pm), Monday to Friday with rotating weekends
• Duration: 6-month contract, with the potential for permanent employment
• Environment: Inpatient Hospital Pharmacy

Key Responsibilities:

• Fill orders using EPIC (training provided)
• Deliver medications to hospital units
• Manage auto-cart filling and Omnicell (training provided)
• Assist with other pharmacy technician duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Hospital pharmacy technician experience preferred
• EPIC and Omnicell experience a plus (training available)
• IV experience is a plus, but not required
• Active Louisiana Pharmacy Technician License
• PTCB certification preferred, but not required
