Position: Compounding Pharmacy Technician
Duration: 13+ Weeks (with potential for permanent placement)
Location: Iowa City, IA

About the Role:
We re searching for a skilled Compounding Pharmacy Technician to join our dynamic team in Iowa City. This role offers a fantastic opportunity for professionals with Home Infusion and clinical pharmacy backgrounds.

Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday
8 AM - 5 PM

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and compound sterile products, including cytotoxic medications, ensuring accuracy and adherence to prescribed doses.
Follow aseptic techniques and strict protocols in accordance with prescriber orders for all sterile compounding activities.
Perform quality assurance checks and maintain detailed quality control records to ensure compliance with compounding standards.
Manage inventory levels effectively to ensure the availability of necessary materials.

Qualifications Needed:
Proven experience in sterile compounding.
Background in Home Infusion pharmacy.
Valid Iowa Pharmacy Technician License.
Minimum of one year of relevant experience.
PTCB Certification required.
