Contract Pharmacist Fulfillment & Compounding Specialist
Location: Kennett Square, PA
Assignment: 13-Week Contract with Opportunity for Permanent Hire

Join a specialized pharmacy team dedicated to precision medicine through custom compound preparations. This is a dynamic role for a pharmacist who thrives in a fulfillment-focused environment and understands the importance of regulatory compliance, patient safety, and timely delivery.

Position Summary:
The pharmacist in this role oversees prescription fulfillment processes, manages pharmacy personnel during scheduled shifts, and ensures every compound dispensed meets both quality and regulatory standards. You'll also have opportunities to engage in patient consultation and therapeutic oversight.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Direct and supervise technicians and staff involved in daily dispensing activities.

• Step into fulfillment operations, including shipping and packaging, as workflow demands.

• Review and approve all prescriptions to confirm accuracy and appropriateness.

• Maintain compliance with state and federal pharmacy laws throughout all operations.

• Monitor patient medication records for efficacy, safety, and potential interactions.

• Provide counseling on compounded drugs, standard prescriptions, OTC items, and supplements.

• Participate in the development of individualized care plans and assess treatment outcomes.

Shift Availability:

• Wednesday to Sunday | 8:00 AM 4:30 PM

• Monday to Friday | 3:00 PM 11:30 PM

• Monday to Friday | 11:00 PM 7:00 AM

Qualifications:

• Active Pharmacist License in Pennsylvania (Required)

• Background in retail pharmacy preferred

• Newer graduates encouraged to apply

• Previous compounding experience (sterile or non-sterile) considered a strong asset

• Must demonstrate a strong record of attendance and reliability
