Fulfillment Pharmacy Techs -West Palm Beach, Florida

RPh on the go is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for a 26-week assignment. Possible direct hire opportunity.

Start Date: November 14
Duration: 6 months
Shift: Monday - Friday, 12:30 PM - 9:00 PM (occasional weekends may be required)

Company Overview:
This is a high-volume mail order pharmacy. Seeking dedicated Pharmacy Technicians to join our team at one of our six mail order sites.

Responsibilities:

• Manage pharmacy inventory and ensure accurate stock levels.
• Prepare, fill, and label medication orders under the supervision of a licensed Pharmacist.
• Prepackage oral and external medications using various equipment.
• Review and interpret physician orders for completeness and drug availability.
• Maintain Pharmacy Patient Medication Profiles and obtain necessary patient information.
• Type prescription labels according to physician directions.
• Order medications and pharmaceutical supplies as directed.
• Verify and restock delivered orders, ensuring the organization of medication shelves and supply bins.
• Maintain a clean working environment and adhere to safety standards.
• Rotate and remove outdated drugs from inventory.
• Perform physical tasks including moving boxes weighing up to 20 pounds and remaining stationary for extended periods.

Requirements:

• Current registration as a Pharmacy Technician in the State of Florida.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in a high-volume pharmacy setting (600+ prescriptions per day).
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
• Must be able to vet experience related to pharmacy volume.
