Fulfillment Pharmacist Contract-to-Hire Opportunity
Location: Kennett Square, PA
Assignment Length: 13 Weeks with Potential for Permanent Placement
Setting: Specialized Compounding Pharmacy

We are hiring a Pharmacist to play a key role in the daily operations of a fast-paced compounding pharmacy that produces customized pharmaceutical solutions tailored to individual patient needs.

Position Summary

This role centers on operational leadership during your shift, clinical judgment, and strict adherence to state and federal pharmacy regulations. You'll be expected to manage fulfillment teams, verify prescription accuracy, and provide meaningful patient interaction regarding medications.

Core Responsibilities

  • Supervise fulfillment and dispensing operations to ensure efficiency and compliance

  • Support daily workflows including shipping, receiving, and order processing as needed

  • Review prescriptions for accuracy and appropriateness, ensuring alignment with patient and prescriber requests

  • Ensure all preparation techniques and documentation meet legal and professional standards

  • Assess patient medication histories and maintain up-to-date profiles

  • Develop care strategies and therapeutic plans for optimal patient outcomes

  • Monitor and counsel patients on prescription, OTC medications, and supplement use

  • Perform drug utilization reviews to identify possible issues with drug therapy regimens

Work Schedule Options

  • Wednesday through Sunday: 8:00 AM 4:30 PM

  • Monday through Friday: 3:00 PM 11:30 PM

  • Monday through Friday: 11:00 PM 7:00 AM

Requirements

  • Active Pharmacist license in the state of Pennsylvania

  • Experience in a retail or outpatient pharmacy setting

  • Strong attendance record and reliability are essential

  • Exposure to compounding (sterile or non-sterile) is preferred

  • New pharmacy graduates will be considered
