Full-Time Clinical Pharmacist Day Shift Gardnerville, NV

We are seeking a licensed Clinical Pharmacist for a 13+ week temp-to-perm opportunity in a hospital setting in Gardnerville, NV.

Schedule: Monday Friday (7:00 AM 5:00 PM), with occasional weekends.

Responsibilities:

• Fill and dispense inpatient and outpatient medications
• Verify and interpret physician orders
• Maintain accurate medication profiles
• Communicate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
• Handle controlled substances and investigational drugs
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and standards

Requirements:

• PharmD degree required
• Active Nevada Pharmacist license
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum of 1 year of hospital experience or completion of a pharmacy residency
• Acute care experience preferred
• Proficiency with USP 797 and USP 800 guidelines

Work Environment:
This is a critical access hospital (25-bed facility) with emergency, outpatient/inpatient surgical services, and an infusion center where biologics and chemo medications are prepared.
