Full-Time Inpatient Pharmacist Alexandria, LA

Pharmacist Opportunity Alexandria, LA
Location: 200+ Bed Community Hospital
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Length: 13-Week Contract

Schedule:

• 4 shifts per week (10-hour shifts)

• Rotating schedule (Possible hours: 6:00 AM 4:30 PM, 7:00 AM 5:30 PM, or 12:30 PM 11:00 PM)

• Every other weekend

Technology Used: EPIC, Pyxis

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders for accuracy and safety

• Supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth operations

• Collaborate with physicians and nurses to optimize patient care

• Provide pharmacokinetic consults as needed

• Ensure compliance with pharmacy standards and regulations
