Full-Time Inpatient Pharmacist (Direct Hire, Relocation) Sitka, Alaska

We are seeking a Clinical Inpatient Pharmacist for a full-time, direct-hire opportunity in Sitka, Alaska. This role is ideal for candidates with strong inpatient hospital experience and a commitment to long-term employment. The position offers a competitive salary, a sign-on bonus, and relocation assistance.

Schedule:
Monday Friday, 1st Shift (8:00 AM 5:00 PM).

Responsibilities:

• Review prescriptions for appropriateness, contraindications, and potential drug interactions.
• Provide clinical consultation, resolve concerns with prescribers, and verify patient understanding of medications.
• Deliver drug therapy consultation, drug information, and staff education.
• Participate in quality control and improvement initiatives within the department.
• Prepare and distribute medications per federal and state regulations.

Requirements:

• Active pharmacist license in any U.S. state.
• Minimum 2 years of recent inpatient hospital experience OR completion of an inpatient PGY1 residency for new graduates.

Interview Process:

1. Pre-screen virtual call.
2. If successful, an on-site visit for the candidate and one guest (flight, housing, and rental car covered by the client). The visit includes time to explore Sitka, Alaska.

Housing Considerations:

• Sitka is a small town with limited housing availability. Large family homes (e.g., 3-bed/2-bath with pets) may be difficult to find. Candidates should be prepared for smaller housing options.
