Full-Time IV Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician - Windsor Mill, MD

We are seeking an Maryland-licensed and experienced IV Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician for a 13+ week contract in a Long Term Care (LTC) pharmacy in Windsor Mill.

This role requires recent sterile compounding experience and an active Maryland pharmacy technician license.

Schedule:
Day Shift, Monday Friday, with rotating weekends based on business needs.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare sterile compounds in accordance with USP 797 guidelines

• Maintain and clean sterile compounding areas (Class 100 clean room)

• Fill prescriptions and compound IV medications under pharmacist supervision

• Manage long-term care orders and assist with Emergency Drug Kits

• Perform accurate data entry and handle facility communications

• Stock IV department and conduct safety checks

• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and internal policies

• Participate in overtime, weekend, and holiday coverage as needed

• Carry out other related duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Active Maryland Pharmacy Technician license

• 2+ years of IV sterile compounding experience

• Recent experience in a pharmacy setting
