Full-Time Pharmacist Non-Traditional Mail Order | 13+ Week Assignment (Temp-to-Hire)
Location: Chula Vista, CA 91913
Schedule: Pharmacy open daily from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM
Shifts may extend to ensure all daily tasks are completed

We are currently seeking a licensed Pharmacist to step into a full-time position at a non-traditional mail order pharmacy in Chula Vista. This is a 13+ week contract-to-hire role with the potential for long-term placement.

About the Role:
This pharmacy specializes in medical supply fulfillment not medication dispensing. The focus is on products such as continuous glucose monitors (CGMs) and insulin pumps for diabetic patients. While the prescription volume is low (approx. 20 orders per day), each order requires detailed verification and hands-on fulfillment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and verify outgoing boxed medical supplies

• Oversee and assist with order fulfillment

• Collaborate closely with a team of technicians and support staff

• Utilize Brightree software system for order management

• Maintain compliance and ensure accuracy at all stages

Environment & Team:

• Staffed by 3 pharmacists, 5 technicians, 1 clerk, and a delivery driver

• Supportive structure pharmacist will always have assistance

• Busy, organized workflow with steady demand

Requirements:

• Active and clear California Pharmacist license (no disciplinary actions)

• Prior experience in mail order or retail pharmacy preferred

• Strong interpersonal skills and a team-based mindset

• Multi-state licensure a plus, but not required
