Full-Time Oncology Clinical Pharmacist Fife, WA
We are seeking a licensed Clinical Pharmacist for a full-time direct hire opportunity in an integrated healthcare facility in Fife, WA. This role involves working alongside physicians, nurses, and other caregivers in an evidence-based and holistic cancer treatment setting.
Candidates must meet the following minimum requirements to be considered: recent Oncology Pharmacist experience within the last two years, preferably 3+ years of oncology experience overall, and at least 2 years of sterile compounding experience with knowledge of USP-797.
Schedule:
Shift: Full Time 40 Hours/Week
- Monday-Thursday: 7:45 AM - 4:30 PM
- Friday: 8:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Responsibilities:

Mix, compound, and prepare oncology medications for cancer patients in accordance with USP <797> and USP <800> standards.

Ensure all drug storage and accountability complies with federal and state regulations.

Serve as a resource for clinic staff regarding pharmacy issues and medication information.

Support e-scripting needs of the clinic.

Oversee daily chemotherapy drug orders by pharmacy technicians and provide coverage as needed.

Manage the clinic and research pharmacy in compliance with applicable federal and state pharmacy laws.

Monitor drug refrigerators to ensure proper storage temperatures.

Monitor for potential drug interactions, adverse reactions, and toxicities.

Report to the Director of Operations and perform additional assigned tasks.
Requirements:

Active and unrestricted Washington Pharmacist License.

Recent Oncology Pharmacist experience (within the last two years).

Preferably 3+ years of oncology experience overall.

2+ years of sterile compounding experience and knowledge of USP-797.

Ability to work the required schedule with no flexibility.

BCOP Certification (preferred).

Candidates working towards BCOP or willing to obtain BCOP will be considered.

Previous integrated care experience (preferred).

Willingness to collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, and other caregivers in an integrated care team.
Interview Process:

Initial phone screening with HR directors.

Interview with the Director.

Onsite visit to tour the facility (relocation candidates will have travel expenses covered for the visit).
Salary and Benefits:

Starting salary: $165K+ (depending on experience).
