Full-Time Order Entry Pharmacy Technician (Long-Term Care) Albany, NY

We are seeking an experienced New York Pharmacy Technician for a full-time, 8-week contract-to-hire opportunity in Albany.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM and 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM rotating shifts. (Must be able to work 1 weekend per month.)

Responsibilities:

• Input prescription information into the pharmacy system, including patient details, drug details, and physician information, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company protocols and regulations.

• Assist pharmacists by reviewing orders for completeness and clarifying missing or unclear information to maintain medication safety standards.

• Coordinate with healthcare providers, customers, and team members to resolve order-related issues, ensure timely processing, and address customer inquiries professionally.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year of previous Pharmacy technician experience.
• Order Entry experience.
• Pharmacy Technician license is a plus, but not required.
