Job Title: Order Entry Pharmacy Technician - Full Time DIRECT Troy, Ohio

Location: Troy, Ohio
Position Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire

Shifts Available:

• 1st Shift: 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM
• 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM
• 3rd Shift: 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM

Includes weekends: rotating every other weekend required.

Pay Range:

• $20 - $22 per hour
• $2/hr shift differential for 2nd shift
• $1/hr shift differential for 3rd shift
• $3/hr weekend shift differential for both 2nd and 3rd shifts

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Order Entry Pharmacy Technician to join our team in Troy, Ohio. As a Pharmacy Technician under the direct supervision of a Pharmacist, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of prescription data entry and patient information. If you have a passion for customer service, attention to detail, and previous experience in pharmacy order entry, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately enter and process new orders, DC's, STAT orders, mail orders, and CII evaluations into the pharmacy system.
• Manage work queues, blister packaging, and patient admission processes.
• Work with pharmacy software (Framework / DocuTrack) for seamless order entry functions.
• Troubleshoot, research, and resolve prescription/patient data discrepancies.
• Collaborate with leadership and team members to meet departmental goals.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing discrepancies and concerns (e.g., illegible prescriptions, medication concerns).
• Maintain effective working relationships with coworkers and customers.
• Assist with phone support as needed to meet customer needs.

Required Qualifications:

• Valid OH State Pharmacy Technician License in good standing.
• Previous Order Entry experience in a pharmacy setting required.
• Strong computer skills and proficiency with pharmacy software systems.
• Solid understanding of medical terminology and pharmaceutical knowledge.
• Excellent math and analytical skills for accurate calculations.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a long-term care pharmacy preferred.
