Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
About the Role:
We are currently looking for an experienced Pharmacist in Charge to oversee and manage the daily operations of our pharmacy in Luck, WI. This leadership role requires a dedicated professional to ensure regulatory compliance, effective pharmacy operations, and optimal patient care. The successful candidate will possess strong management skills, extensive pharmacy knowledge, and a dedication to improving patient outcomes and safety.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operational Leadership: Develop and execute strategies to optimize pharmacy services, ensuring high-quality patient care and improved health outcomes.
- Team Management: Supervise, train, and mentor pharmacy staff, including pharmacists and technicians, to ensure excellence in service delivery and performance standards.
- Regulatory Compliance: Maintain compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, ensuring that pharmacy practices meet accreditation and legal requirements.
- Collaboration & Coordination: Partner with healthcare teams to implement medication therapy management programs that contribute to enhanced patient health.
- Medication & Inventory Control: Oversee the procurement, storage, and distribution of medications, ensuring the pharmacy operates with an efficient and accurate inventory system.
- Process Improvement & Safety: Monitor medication use patterns and identify opportunities for improving workflows and patient safety.
- Staff Support & Problem Resolution: Provide expert guidance to staff on complex medication-related issues and foster a collaborative, problem-solving environment.
- Interdepartmental Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to integrate pharmacy services into the broader healthcare framework for seamless patient care.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor of Arts in Pharmacy or a related field
- Licensure: Current, active Wisconsin pharmacy license
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in pharmacy management, demonstrating leadership and operational expertise
- Skills: In-depth knowledge of pharmacy operations, including regulatory compliance, medication therapy management, and effective team leadership
