RPh on the Go currently has a permanent position open for a Staff Pharmacist in Springfield, Illinois. As a Long Term Care Staff Pharmacist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and effective use of medications for patients and residents.

Responsibilities:

• Review and process medication orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize medication therapy for residents.
• Dispense medications accurately and provide counseling to patients and their families.
• Perform medication reconciliation and medication therapy management.
• Oversee pharmacy operations, including inventory management and quality control.
• Ensure compliance with all state and federal pharmacy regulations.
• Provide education and training to nursing staff on medication-related topics.
• Participate in the development and implementation of clinical pharmacy services.

Qualifications:

• Current and active pharmacist license in the state of Illinois.
• Prior experience in long-term care or geriatric pharmacy preferred.
