Responsibilities:

• Accurately and safely compound sterile medications following established protocols and guidelines.
• Perform calculations to determine appropriate drug concentrations and dosages.
• Clean and maintain the compounding area and equipment to ensure aseptic conditions.
• Collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate prescription interpretation and preparation.
• Verify and label prepared medications accurately.
• Adhere to all relevant regulatory standards and quality assurance processes.
• Assist in inventory management and order supplies as needed.
• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of all compounded medications.

Qualifications:

• Active Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Ohio
• Sterile compounding experience preferred, but not required.
