Full-Time Pharmacy Technician (Long-Term Care) - Plainview, NY

We are seeking a licensed Pharmacy Technician for a 13+ week contract-to-hire opportunity in a long-term care pharmacy setting in Plainview, NY.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, Mid Shift (11:00 AM 7:00 PM or 12:00 PM 8:00 PM), with rotating weekends.

Responsibilities:

• Fill, package, label, and stock medications.
• Measure and fill containers with medication, either manually or mechanically.
• Label drug containers manually or through automated systems.
• Maintain familiarity with general pharmacy terminology, including medication names.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal drug laws as well as company policies and procedures.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

System Knowledge:

• QS1 PrimeRx and DocuTrack

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• A minimum of one year of recent pharmacy technician experience.
• Experience in retail or long-term care pharmacy settings is required.
• Valid NY Pharmacy Technician License.
