Full-Time Pharmacy Technician - Long-Term Care (LTC)
Location: Plainview, NY

Introduction:
RPH on the go is seeking a Pharmacy Technician at a Long-Term Care facility in Plainview, NY. This is a full-time position offering consistent mid-shift hours, an engaging work environment, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patient care.

Duties:

• Fill, package, label, and stock medications.
• Accurately measure and fill medication bottles or packages manually or mechanically.
• Label containers according to department specifications.
• Understand general pharmacy terminology, including medication names.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal drug laws as well as company policies.
• Perform other related duties as required.

Schedule/Shift:

• Monday - Friday with rotating weekends.
• Mid-shift: 11:00 am - 7:00 pm or 12:00 pm - 8:00 pm.

Requirements:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of recent pharmacy technician experience in retail or long-term care settings is required.
• Licensure: NY Pharmacy Technician License required; PTCB certification preferred.

Program System:

• QS1 PrimeRx and DocuTrack.

Compensation:

• $18 - $21 per hour, based on experience.
