Pharmacy Manager / PIC 13+ Week Assignment (Potential for Temp-to-Perm)
Location: Westminster, CO
Start Date: January 1, 2025
Shift: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 4:30 PM (On-call evenings and weekends shared)
We are currently seeking an experienced Pharmacy Manager or Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) for a 13+ week assignment at a rehabilitation hospital in Westminster, CO. The position offers the potential for temp-to-perm for the right candidate. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage pharmacy operations, including staffing and daily workflow.
- Serve as Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC), overseeing the pharmacy s clinical services and ensuring compliance with all state and federal regulations.
- Supervise and mentor pharmacy staff to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Provide pharmaceutical care to patients in a 36-bed rehabilitation hospital.
- Ensure safe and accurate dispensing of medications.
- Participate in patient care rounds and collaborate with healthcare teams.
- Manage on-call duties during evenings and weekends (shared responsibility).
Requirements:
- 2+ years of management experience in a pharmacy setting.
- Active Colorado Pharmacy License (clear and current).
- 3+ years of recent inpatient hospital pharmacy experience.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
