Full Time Retail Pharmacist (Day Shift Direct Hire)

Responsibilities:

• Dispense prescription and nonprescription medications accurately and efficiently.
• Counsel patients on medication use, side effects, proper administration, and storage.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust drug therapy as necessary.
• Provide clinical supervision and support for pharmacy technicians and other staff.
• Respond to inquiries from providers regarding medication selection, dosage, interactions, and side effects.
• Stay updated with advancements in pharmacy technology and integrate them into daily operations.

Requirements:

• Active Minnesota Pharmacist License.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Pharmacy degree from an accredited College of Pharmacy.
• Comprehensive knowledge of drugs, their actions, and state/local regulations.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Immunization certification.
• A minimum of one year of experience in a retail pharmacy setting.
