Full-Time Retail Staff Pharmacist

Retail Pharmacist Opportunity Lewiston, ME

Location: Lewiston, Maine
Work Schedule:

• Monday to Friday: 8-hour shifts between 7:00 AM 7:00 PM
• Saturdays: 8:00 AM 4:00 PM (every third week)

Pharmacy Overview:
Join a well-established retail pharmacy in Lewiston where you ll be working with a dedicated team. This pharmacy handles approximately 300 prescriptions per day and uses Pioneer as its computer system along with a ScriptPro robot for efficiency. You'll have the chance to provide excellent care while utilizing state-of-the-art technology in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and verify prescriptions for accuracy
• Counsel patients on proper medication use and safety
• Assist the Pharmacy-in-Charge (PIC) with day-to-day operations
• Collaborate with the pharmacy team to ensure a high standard of care
• Ensure compliance with all pharmacy regulations and standards

Qualifications Needed:

• At least 1 year of recent retail pharmacy experience
• Active Maine Pharmacist License
• Availability to start immediately
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
