Full Time Specialty Pharmacist - Near Central Park, NY

RPh on the Go is actively seeking a skilled and patient-focused Staff Pharmacist for a day shift position at a Specialty Pharmacy in New York, NY. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced pharmacist to contribute to high-quality patient care in a fast-paced specialty pharmacy setting. In this role, you will be responsible for dispensing specialty medications, providing patient counseling, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure effective treatment outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately review and dispense high-volume (800+ Rx per day) specialty medications in compliance with all pharmacy laws and regulations.
• Provide thorough medication counseling to patients, ensuring they understand their treatments and potential side effects.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize medication therapy management and improve patient outcomes.
• Monitor and maintain inventory control for specialty medications.
• Adhere to state and federal regulations governing medication dispensing.

Qualifications:

• Active NY State Pharmacist License (in good standing).
• Experience in Retail, Mail Order, or Specialty Pharmacy is required.
• High-volume pharmacy experience (handling 800+ prescriptions per day) is a must.
• Ability to stand for extended periods in one location.

Schedule:

• Monday Friday: 9:00 AM 5:00 PM
• Every 7th Saturday: 9:00 AM 2:00 PM

Compensation & Benefits:

• $60/hour
• Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401(k) benefits
• Paid Time Off (PTO): 120 hours accrued (15 days total, 5 days available immediately, 10 accrued)
• 40 hours PTO carryover allowed
• Paid Holidays: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day
