Full-Time Staff Pharmacist (Long-Term Care Closed Door) Salt Lake City, UT

We are actively hiring a Utah-Licensed Pharmacist for a 12-week contract-to-hire position in a mail-order long-term care pharmacy in Salt Lake City. This position has the intension and opportunity to result in permanent employment.

Schedule: Full-time, Monday Friday, rotating 8 hours shifts between 8:00 AM 10:00 PM, with rotating weekends (9:00 AM - 6:00 PM.)

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure accurate dispensing of medications and verify prescription orders for long-term care facility residents.
• Work closely with healthcare teams to optimize medication therapy management and improve patient outcomes.
• Uphold state and federal regulations, while adhering to pharmacy best practices.
• Provide pharmaceutical care with a focus on patient safety, compliance, and medication efficacy.

Qualifications:

• Active Pharmacist license in the state of Utah (required).
• 1-2 years of pharmacy experience; long-term care experience preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality pharmaceutical care.
