Full Time- Staff Pharmacist Temp to Perm Contract (Wilkes-Barre, PA)

We are seeking a motivated Pharmacist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have pharmacy experience, preferably in a long-term care setting. While LTC experience is a plus, we welcome candidates with retail pharmacy backgrounds who are eager to transition into the LTC mail order environment.

2nd Shift: Monday-Friday, Rotating weekends (2:00 pm - 11:00 pm)

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense prescription medications.
• Review and verify prescriptions to ensure accuracy and compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Provide professional consultation to healthcare providers and patients regarding medication use and management.
• Maintain detailed records of medication dispensation and ensure proper documentation.
• Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality pharmaceutical care.

Requirements:

• Pharmacy experience
• Experience in a long-term care setting is preferred but not required; retail pharmacy experience will be considered.
• Active PA Pharmacist license
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
