RPh on the Go is actively searching for a highly skilled and dedicated Home Infusion Pharmacist willing to work in Fayetteville, NC. As a Sterile Compounding Pharmacist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our patients by meticulously compounding and delivering sterile medications. Responsibilities:

  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality in sterile compounding.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, healthcare providers, and colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, taking ownership of the compounding process.
  • Familiarity with clean room operations and aseptic technique is a plus.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the evolving needs of our patients and the healthcare industry.

Qualifications:

  • Clear and active NC Pharmacist license
  • 1+ years of recent sterile compounding experience
  • Immediate availability to start work

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sterile Compounding: Perform sterile compounding of Total Parenteral Nutrition (TPN) and IV medications in compliance with regulatory guidelines and our pharmacy's protocols.
  • Quality Assurance: Oversee and verify the work of pharmacy technicians to ensure accuracy and safety in the compounding process.
  • Patient and Physician Interaction: Communicate with patients and healthcare providers to address their medication-related concerns and inquiries.
  • Clean Room: If required, work within a clean room environment following strict aseptic technique protocols.
  • Collaborative Teamwork: Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
