Full-Time Supervising Pharmacist (13-Week Travel Assignment) - Peridot, AZ

We are seeking an experienced Pharmacy Supervisor for a 13+ week contract in Peridot, AZ. This opportunity is ideal for a pharmacist with hospital pharmacy and retail experience looking for a role with potential for extension and long-term opportunities.

Schedule: Monday Friday, Full-Time (30 hours/week)

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily pharmacy operations to ensure compliance with professional and regulatory standards.
• Lead and develop a pharmacy team, ensuring efficient workflows and high-quality service.
• Develop and implement performance metrics, aligning efforts with organization-wide quality improvement initiatives.
• Assist in managing purchasing and inventory, ensuring cost-effective and timely access to medications and supplies.
• Provide staff development through feedback, HR policies, and growth opportunities.
• Support training, orientation, and continuous learning for team members.
• Prepare monthly reports on performance and improvement areas.
• Participate in ongoing education to maintain skills and competency.
• Ensure compliance with regulations regarding immunizations, vaccines, and emergency medications.

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science or PharmD from an accredited school of pharmacy (PharmD preferred).
• 1-year residency (PGY1) preferred.
• Three years of pharmacist experience; minimum of two years in hospital practice preferred.
• Active, unrestricted pharmacist license (Arizona preferred).
• BLS certification from AHA within 30 days of hire.
• Licensed to administer immunizations, vaccines, and emergency medications preferred.
