High-Volume Staff Pharmacist Contract to Hire Columbus, OH

We re seeking a sharp and dependable pharmacist for a full-time, first-shift position in a fast-paced pharmacy setting in Columbus, Ohio. This 13-week contract has strong potential to convert to a permanent role for the right candidate. The pharmacy is experiencing rapid growth, and the work environment is dynamic, collaborative, and high-energy.

Shift Details:

• First Shift

• 8:00am 4:00pm, Monday through Friday

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise pharmacy technicians and data entry clerks to ensure accurate workflow and timely delivery

• Oversee medication ordering and prepacking processes

• Screen all new prescriptions for proper dosing, drug interactions, allergies, and contraindications

• Maintain compliance and accurate documentation related to controlled substances, including perpetual inventory for Schedule II drugs

• Ensure security protocols and pharmacy regulations are followed at all times

Requirements:

• Active and clear Ohio Pharmacist license

• Proven experience in a high-volume retail or compounding pharmacy environment

• Strong leadership and communication skills

• Ability to work with urgency while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
