This role provides a steady weekday schedule and the chance to work in a specialized patient care setting.

Position Details

• Term: 8 weeks (contract only, chance of extension)
• Schedule: Monday to Friday
• Shift Options: 9:00 AM 5:30 PM or 8:30 AM 5:00 PM
• Start Date: As soon as possible

Responsibilities

• Perform final verification and quality checks on IV medications, including TPNs and sterile compounds
• Ensure all compounded medications meet safety and regulatory standards
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient care
• Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations regarding home infusion therapy

Requirements

• Active and clear Alabama pharmacist license
• Recent experience in sterile compounding (hospital or home infusion required)
• Retail-only backgrounds will not be considered
