Contract Duration: 13+ Weeks (with potential for extension due to maternity leave)

Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced and compassionate Home Infusion Pharmacist to join our team in Huntsville, AL. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to work closely with patients in their homes, preparing and administering IV medications while ensuring they receive the necessary guidance to manage their treatments effectively. Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and dispense intravenous (IV) medications for home infusion.
• Collaborate with home health nurses to coordinate patient care and ensure smooth medication administration.
• Monitor patient progress and provide essential support throughout the treatment process.
• Educate patients on proper medication usage and safe home administration.
• Work closely with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements:

• At least 1 year of recent experience in home infusion pharmacy.
• Proficient in using the CPR+ computer system.
• Active and clear Alabama Pharmacist license.
