2 month home infusion pharmacist contract - Chicago
We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Pharmacist to join our team on a short-term contract basis. The position is available for two months and is open to candidates local to Chicago. The ideal candidate will have an active and clear Illinois pharmacy license and preferably possess experience in Home Infusion. Immediate availability is a requirement for this role.
Requirements:
- Active and clear Illinois pharmacy license.
- Preferred experience in Home Infusion.
- Immediate availability to start the position.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in prescription processing.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations governing pharmacy practice.
- Ability to work well within a team and independently.
- Strong commitment to patient safety and quality care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform final checks on prescription orders to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Verify patient information, medication dosage, and any potential drug interactions.
- Provide clinical support and guidance to healthcare providers as needed.
- Maintain accurate and complete patient records.
- Ensure the safe and proper storage and handling of medications.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
