Home Infusion Pharmacy Technician Raleigh, NC Area

We are seeking a licensed Pharmacy Technician with recent sterile compounding experience to join a home infusion pharmacy team near Raleigh, North Carolina. This is a full-time, Monday through Friday opportunity with a day shift schedule of 8:30am to 5:00pm, though occasional extended hours may be required based on workflow needs.

This contract position runs for 13 weeks and offers a strong potential for permanent placement based on performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform accurate and safe sterile compounding in compliance with USP standards

• Maintain and operate within a clean room environment, including prepping and cleaning

• Follow strict aseptic techniques and adhere to infection control protocols

• Support inventory control and medication preparation under pharmacist supervision

• Ensure proper documentation of compounding records and labeling

Required Qualifications:

• Active North Carolina Pharmacy Technician license

• Recent experience with sterile compounding (within the last few years)

• Previous work in a home infusion pharmacy or inpatient hospital setting

• Familiarity with clean room protocols and USP <797>/<800> guidelines

• PTCB certification is strongly preferred

• Ability to work independently and with attention to detail in a fast-paced, high-standard environment
