We are seeking a dependable and experienced Inpatient IV Pharmacy Technician for a 13-week contract assignment in Germantown, Maryland, starting June 15. This opportunity requires strong sterile compounding skills, the ability to work flexible shifts, and experience in high-volume inpatient settings.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, reliable, and comfortable navigating advanced automation systems in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Duration: 13 weeks

Shifts: Must be flexible to work days, evenings, or nights, with rotating weekends
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare sterile IV medications in compliance with USP 797/800 standards

Work within an inpatient hospital pharmacy setting supporting clinical teams

Operate and maintain pharmacy automation systems including Talyst and Pyxis ES

Collaborate with pharmacists and medical staff to ensure timely medication delivery

Document and manage workflows within EPIC EMR
Requirements:

Active Maryland Pharmacy Technician License

PTCB certification (required)

Minimum 2 years of recent inpatient IV compounding experience

Experience using Talyst and Pyxis ES automation systems

Proficiency with EPIC or similar EMR systems
