RPh on the Go is seeking an experienced and adaptable Hospital Pharmacist for a travel contract opportunity in Sidney, Montana. This is a full-time assignment for 13+ or 26+ weeks, with travel expenses factored into the pay. Ideal for a pharmacist with a strong inpatient background, EPIC experience, and flexibility to support both hospital and retail pharmacy settings.

Position Overview

  • Location: Sidney, MT (border of North Dakota travel assistance provided)

  • Contract Term: 13+ or 26+ weeks

  • Shift:

  • Hospital: 7:00 AM 5:30 PM (On-call after hours)

  • Retail Pharmacy (float as needed): M F 8:00 AM 6:00 PM, Sat 9:00 AM 1:00 PM

  • Hours: 40+ per week; OT possible

  • Environment: Small rural hospital with ER (7 beds), ICU, OB, surgery, and med-surg units

    Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver pharmaceutical care in inpatient and occasional retail settings

  • Verify and dispense medications across multiple hospital departments

  • Collaborate with providers to manage patient treatment plans

  • Adjust therapies based on clinical monitoring

  • Educate patients and staff on medications and side effects

  • Maintain inventory and regulatory compliance

  • Perform sterile and non-sterile compounding

  • Support pharmacy technicians and oversee daily workflows

  • Participate in safety and quality improvement initiatives

    Requirements

  • Active and unrestricted Montana Pharmacist license

  • EPIC system experience (must have)

  • 2+ years of inpatient hospital pharmacy experience within the past 5 years

  • Willing to work full-time with on-call availability

  • Ability to float to retail pharmacy as needed

  • Ready to begin as soon as compliant
