Hospital Pharmacist - Southern Oregon (Contract-to-Perm Opportunity)

RPh on the Go is seeking a skilled and dedicated Hospital Pharmacist for an immediate contract position with potential for permanent hire in Southern Oregon. This role offers a Monday to Friday day shift, making it ideal for pharmacists who prefer a consistent schedule in an acute care setting. This is a travel role and hotel, mileage will be available for the candidate.

Job Duties:

• Review and interpret medication orders for inpatients and outpatients as needed.
• Prepare and/or verify medications before distribution to various clinics, offices, and ambulance services.
• Provide medication management counseling to patients being discharged from the hospital.
• Inspect pharmacy inventory to ensure drugs are maintained according to departmental policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Active and clear Oregon Pharmacist license.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in an inpatient hospital pharmacy setting.
• Experience in an acute care hospital setting is highly preferred.
