We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Hospital Pharmacist for a temporary-to-permanent position in Coquille, OR. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a small but expanding pharmacy that plays a vital role in patient care.

About the Role:
You will work alongside the Director of Pharmacy (DOP) in a supportive environment. While the facility is currently without an IV room, they are in the process of establishing one. Your expertise will help streamline operations as the pharmacy continues to grow. IV compounding experience is not required, but it s a valuable plus!

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and interpret medication orders for inpatients and outpatients as needed.
• Prepare and check medications prior to distribution to various offices, clinics, and ambulance services.
• Counsel patients upon discharge from the hospital regarding medication management.
• Inspect pharmacy inventory to ensure compliance with departmental policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Clear and active pharmacist license in the state of Oregon.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an inpatient hospital pharmacy setting.
• Experience in an acute care hospital setting preferred.
