Job Title: Hospital Pharmacist (Travel)
Location: Coquille, Oregon
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Job Overview:
RPH on the go is seeking an experienced Hospital Pharmacist for a travel position in Coquille, OR. This is a unique opportunity to support a growing hospital pharmacy that is expanding its services and building an IV room. You will work closely with the Director of Pharmacy (DOP) and provide essential pharmacy services to inpatients, outpatients, and various medical facilities. IV compounding experience is a plus but not required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Medication Review: Review and interpret medication orders for inpatients and outpatients to ensure appropriate therapy and dosage.
• Medication Preparation: Prepare and/or check medications before distribution to various offices, clinics, and ambulance services.
• Patient Counseling: Counsel patients upon discharge to ensure they understand their medication management plan.
• Inventory Management: Inspect pharmacy inventory to ensure drugs are maintained according to departmental policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Active Pharmacist License in the state of Oregon (clear and in good standing).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in an inpatient hospital pharmacy setting.
• Experience in an acute care hospital setting preferred.
• Knowledge of Cerner and Pyxis systems is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a growing environment.
