Key Responsibilities:

• Medication Management: Review and interpret medication orders for inpatients and outpatients, ensuring accuracy and safety.
• Preparation & Distribution: Prepare and verify medications for distribution to various clinics and emergency services.
• Patient Counseling: Provide valuable guidance to patients upon discharge, helping them manage their medications effectively.
• Inventory Oversight: Conduct inspections of pharmacy inventory to maintain compliance with all departmental policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Clear and active pharmacist license in Oregon.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an inpatient hospital pharmacy setting.
• Acute care hospital experience is preferred but not mandatory.
