Hospital Pharmacist - Travel Opportunity - Sidney, MT

RPh on the Go, is seeking a highly skilled Hospital Pharmacist for a travel assignment in Sidney, Montana. This position offers a dynamic setting within a critical access hospital that includes ER, ICU, OB, and surgical care. The role demands strong clinical expertise, inpatient hospital experience, and the flexibility to occasionally float to a retail pharmacy location.

Position Details:

• Full-time, day shift (7:00 AM 5:30 PM) with on-call responsibilities outside of scheduled hours.

• 13+ or 26+ week contract with potential for extension.

• Opportunity for overtime hours.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive clinical pharmacy services across multiple hospital departments.

• Review and verify medication orders for ER, ICU, OB, surgical, and med-surg patients.

• Collaborate closely with the medical team on treatment plans and medication management.

• Conduct patient monitoring and adjust therapies based on clinical outcomes.

• Perform sterile and non-sterile compounding.

• Assist in retail pharmacy operations as needed, including medication counseling and dispensing.

• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.

• Supervise and support pharmacy technicians.

Requirements:

• Active and unrestricted Montana Pharmacist License.

• Minimum 2 years of recent inpatient hospital experience.

• Proficiency with EPIC systems required.

• Availability to work scheduled shifts and take on-call hours.

• Strong clinical knowledge, adaptability, and commitment to high-quality patient care.

• Willingness to start promptly upon becoming compliant.
