RPh on the Go is actively seeking a skilled and motivated Hospital Pharmacy Technician for a contract-to-hire opportunity in New Orleans, Louisiana. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications in accordance with hospital protocols and regulations.
• Accurately fill prescriptions, compound medications, and prepare IV admixtures.
• Maintain precise and up-to-date patient records.
• Manage inventory and ensure the safe storage of medications.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide excellent patient care.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervising pharmacist.

Shift:

• Monday - Friday: Rotating weekends.
• Rotating 1st and 2nd shift: 7:00am - 3:30pm; 2:30pm - 10:00pm

Qualifications:

• Active Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Louisiana.
• National Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) is preferred.
• Previous experience in a hospital or inpatient pharmacy setting.
• EPIC experience (will train)
• Omnicell experience (will train)
• IV experience a plus but not required.
