Job Title: Pharmacy Technician (Temp-to-Perm Contract)
Location: New Orleans, LA
Shift Schedule: Rotating shifts: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM and 2:30 PM - 10:00 PM, Monday through Friday, including rotating weekends.

About the Position:

We are seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to enhance our hospital pharmacy operations. In this essential role, you will ensure that patients receive their medications accurately and efficiently. Training is available for specific systems and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process medication orders through the EPIC system.
• Deliver medications to various departments within the hospital.
• Assist with automated cart filling and manage OmniCell technology.

Qualifications:

• Experience in a hospital pharmacy setting is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with EPIC and OmniCell is beneficial; we provide training.
• IV preparation experience is a plus but not required.
• Must hold a current Louisiana pharmacy technician license.
• PTCB certification is preferred but not a requirement.
