RPh on the Go is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hospital Pharmacy Technician for a contract-to-hire position in New Orleans, Louisiana. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications in a hospital setting
• Accurately fill and label medication orders
• Maintain inventory and ensure proper storage of medications
• Perform medication reconciliation and restocking of automated dispensing cabinets
• Ensure compliance with all hospital policies and state regulations
• Deliver excellent customer service to patients and healthcare staff

Shift:

• Monday - Friday: Rotating weekends.
• Rotating 1st and 2nd shift: 7:00am - 3:30pm; 2:30pm - 10:00pm

Qualifications:

• Active Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Louisiana.
• National Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) is preferred.
• Previous experience in a hospital or inpatient pharmacy setting.
• EPIC experience (will train)
• Omnicell experience (will train)
• IV experience a plus but not required.
