Job Opportunity: Specialty Pharmacy Specialist

Location: Glens Falls, NY
Position: Temporary (5 Weeks) Full-Time (Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM)

Position Overview: We are on the lookout for a Specialty Pharmacy Specialist to join our team in Glens Falls, NY for a 5-week assignment. This role is centered on managing the dispensing and delivery of outpatient specialty medications. While the title suggests a managerial role, the focus will be on hands-on clinical duties without extensive managerial responsibilities.

Main Duties:

• Supervise the dispensing and distribution of specialty medications to outpatient clients.
• Address clinical inquiries from patients and conduct clinical assessments.

Qualifications:

• Valid and active NY Pharmacy License.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in specialty or outpatient pharmacy practice.

Additional Details:

• Training provided for one week with the current pharmacist, starting August 19th (if available).
• Travel expenses will be covered for candidates residing outside the local area.
