Shift Details

• Schedule: Rotating first and second shifts
  • First Shift: 7:00 AM 3:30 PM
  • Second Shift: 3:00 PM 11:30 PM
• Flexibility: Rotating weekends required.

Key Responsibilities

• Dispense and verify medications in an inpatient hospital setting.
• Provide clinical support and consult with healthcare professionals regarding patient care.
• Utilize Cerner for medication management and documentation.
• Monitor patient therapies and ensure adherence to hospital protocols.
• Maintain compliance with all state and federal pharmacy regulations.

Requirements

• Licensure: Valid Illinois Pharmacist License required.
• Experience:
  • Prior experience in an inpatient hospital pharmacy is required.
  • Familiarity with Cerner is a plus but not mandatory.
• Skills:
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
