IHS Pharmacist - Peridot, AZ - Travel/Local

An IHS Pharmacy Clinic in Peridot, AZ, is seeking a Pharmacist for a 13+ week contract. This role is inpatient/ER-focused, requiring hospital experience and ACLS & PALS certification (PALS can be obtained on-site within the first month).

Duties:

• Oversee daily administrative pharmacy operations, ensuring service quality meets professional and regulatory standards.
• Implement outcome measures and tracking systems for operational and financial efficiency.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate departmental policies and procedures.
• Assess program effectiveness and drive process improvement initiatives.
• Provide staff feedback, support development, and maintain performance standards using HR policies.

Schedule/Shift:

• Hours Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
• Five days per week, 8 hour shifts

Requirements:

• Two years of clinical pharmacy experience preferred.
• Five years of professional experience, with two years of management experience preferred.
• Bachelor s Degree in Pharmacy (PharmD preferred, including one-year residency).
• Current and active state Pharmacy License (Arizona state license preferred).
• AHA/BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Must pass a background and drug screening.
