Infusion Clinical Pharmacist Chandler, AZ (Contract to Hire)

RPh on the Go is seeking an experienced Infusion Clinical Pharmacist for a contract-to-hire opportunity in Chandler, AZ. If you re a skilled professional with a passion for clinical care and infusion pharmacy, we d love to hear from you!

Position Details:

• Start Date: ASAP
• Duration: 13 weeks with the potential for direct hire
• Shift: Monday - Friday, 8-hour shifts within the hours of 8:00 AM - 7:30 PM, with rotating "on-call" weekends

Environment:

• Infusion pharmacy focusing on acute conditions
• Sterile compounding for IVs, TPNs, hydration, and antibiotics

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee efficient dispensing, processing, and recording of prescriptions
• Collaborate with providers to ensure optimal drug therapy
• Monitor patients drug therapy and provide drug information to patients and healthcare professionals
• Supervise pharmacy technicians in technical functions
• Screen medication orders for correctness, incompatibilities, and contraindications
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as JCAHO standards
• Provide pharmacokinetic dosing advice and medication information
• Maintain professionalism and courtesy while interacting with patients, families, and healthcare teams

Requirements:

• Active Arizona Pharmacist License in good standing
• 1-2 years of experience in an infusion pharmacy setting
• Strong clinical knowledge and excellent communication skills
• Familiarity with preparing sterile compounds for acute conditions
